SOW

A poetry circle to embrace women on their mothering journeys. Through poetry, whether we read it or write it ourselves, we discover the meaning in our experiences. Through meaning, wholeness arises. With every idea, action, thought, and word we are planting a reality for ourselves. SOW provides each participant the intentional space to plant seeds of awareness, compassion, wellness, and joy during their mothering journey.

SOW is a space for conceiving, pregnant, and postpartum mamas (immediate postpartum and beyond). You do not have to be a poet to participate. You will not be asked to write poetry or to share your own writing unless you feel called to.

In every circle session we will begin with a guided meditation, leading into selected poetry readings. Poetry will be drawn from different cultures and will be relevant to the mothering journey. There will be space for group reflection and personal creative writing time in the second half of each session.

Meets every Thursday livestream via zoom. In addition to our live option there will be an in-person location to attend SOW in the berkshires, coming soon.
